Undiscovered Scotland<p>The spectacular Cairnholy I Chambered Cairn near the A75 west of Gatehouse of Fleet in Dumfries &amp; Galloway. A second cairn stands only 150m from it. The cairn seems to have stood here for between 4,000 and 6,000 years. Mrinappropriate<p>Saw this gorgeous spotted orchid up by the Clints of Cairnsmore while walking this morning. A profusion of birds and plants. Having checked, a clint is a hard exposed rocky shoulder.
