๒๏₪ 🐝 STIL NOTDED 🌻 :donor:
Last year I decided to stop living with #HBP

I was already doing the obvious: rarely taking NSAIDS, walking at least 30 mins everyday, and vegetarian.

The doctor doubled my meds. I had a bad reaction and stopped taking lisiniprol (after discovering it is not recommended for more than 5 yrs).

I started monitoring at home regularly, searching for patterns.

Cut sodium to <1 tspn/day, stopped taking HRT, cut adderall from 20 mg to 5 mg, and cut all alcohol.

Still too high. Started taking amlodipine. That stuff is amazing! But still regularly 145-165/90-110. The diastolic is the stickiest.

I switched to decaf a couple of weeks ago and started a working out with weights. More often than not my BP 117-128/78-84.

It’s been a lot of changes 😅 my new goal is to stabilize the blood pressure.

My dad died of an aortic aneurism at 57. Momento mori 💀
