David<p>I got PrEP on demand, and started taking it on the weekend, for *reasons*… </p><p>Now I’m getting the nausea (which happened last time I took it).</p><p>Tossing up whether to:<br>A) Keep taking it daily, so that my body gets over the nausea.</p><p>OR</p><p>B) Stop taking it (as part of the 2-1-1 PrEP / on demand PrEP), and just continue with PrEP on demand.</p><p>I don’t have sex that often, and when I do, it’s mostly protected, so option A seems like overkill. BUT option B means that I’ll probably get nausea again next time I do PrEP on demand, and I’ll probably start associating PrEP with nausea, and therefore a bad time?</p><p>(Yes, I’ll bring this up with my doctor, and discuss options, etc. but my next appointment won’t be for a few months, and I’m not convinced that he’ll have much more to add.)</p><p><a href="https://aus.social/tags/PrEP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PrEP</span></a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/HIVPrevention" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HIVPrevention</span></a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/HIVPrEP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HIVPrEP</span></a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/SexualHealth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SexualHealth</span></a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Gay" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Gay</span></a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/UEqualsU" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UEqualsU</span></a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/GaySex" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GaySex</span></a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/GetTested" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GetTested</span></a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/TreatmentAsPrevention" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TreatmentAsPrevention</span></a></p>
