Ellie Kennard PhotographyMy favourite tree. A stately Maple that has seen things in its life. When we moved here, 28 years ago, there was a tire swing on one of the branches, but that broke, thankfully when no one was on it. The trunk is hollow almost all the way up inside and has housed raccoons and possibly sheltered a fox, too.
