dick_turpin<p>Has anyone got a spare room for a few weeks? This morning at 𝟬𝟱:𝟭𝟬! The wife wanted to discuss and browse on her iPad a replacement radiator for the £45 one I bought ten days ago because [admittedly] now we've blocked off the 2nd door to the front room, the small radiator (that was always there) is not powerful enough to heat the kitchen.</p><p>I come home, and it's kitchen this, kitchen that. I get up, and it's...</p>
Anomnomnomaly<p>And so it begins.</p><p>Todays is destruction and the laying out of cables/wiring for extra lights, sockets and new ovens and hob.</p><p>Tomorrow is connecting all of that wiring up, they'll probably overboard the ceiling with new plasterboard as it'll be easier than trying to patch 9 holes where lights are being moved.</p><p>With any luck, electrics and plastering, completed by end of Friday. Anomnomnomaly<p>New kitchen being fitted from Tues or Weds. So spent that last couple of days rearranging rooms and clearing the kitchen. Setting up a temp cooking area in the downstairs study/bedroom, clearing the dining room for space for workmen and assembly, clearing utility for workmen to make drinks and snacks.</p><p>Gonna be a rough few weeks and lots of easy to prepare convenience foods and takeaways.
