NDR🌕✨ Kometen, Polarlichter und jetzt ein riesiger Supermond – der Himmel hat gerade einiges zu bieten! Am 17. Oktober ist es so weit. CarstenNorthern lights were visible over Berlin to the naked eye during the night of October 10/11 in spite of big-city light pollution—and to me in spite of red-green colorblindness. I auto-adjusted levels and slightly increased the contrast in Darktable in this shot. Unfortunately my UV filter created a radial interference pattern that I don't know how to touch up and that's present on all photos I took that night. The filter got stuck on the lens from the cold air, so I couldn't quickly remove it. Either way, seeing the aurora was a memorable occasion. You can bet I went to bed amazed and happy.
