Y⃒̸̷̝̜̙ͥͥͥngmarDone. That's the underside, now covered with some "Bitumen" underbody spray that will also protect against small impacts.This was a leftover can which went on fine and a new can which went on a bit blotchy. Guess you really need to shake it for five minutes. Oh well, blotchy protects all the better! :)The inside got just normal matt black paint. Carlos Rodrigues 🪣Although the super glue speaker "repair" was good enough at the time, and even though I've effectively retired this macbook since then, a pair of third-party speakers from AliExpress was <10€ shipped and I couldn't resist giving it a go.Maybe the originals sounded a bit deeper — can't really compare them now — but the replacements sound quite nice on their own. I'm surprised. Damn strap ripped after 6 years and a new one didn't even last 4 years.I am done buying new straps and went full DIY on it with 3d printed TPU strap. Birds Books and BullshitMy uncle forgot his satchel here this weekend so I decided to fix the holes in it while I've got it. The thread I've picked for it is a *perfect* color match. Now, I know you're looking at this thinking "yeah I guess it's kinda close."No.It's perfect. There's *loads* of thread already stitched in there. The fuzzy lighter bits are from the bag itself.
