Dr Micha Campbell<p>Shocked/not shocked that <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/UQ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UQ</span></a>'s LNP club have displayed a pro-T-*ump flag at Market Day. </p><p>UQ young libs have always been entitled scum.</p>
Dr Micha Campbell<p>I don't normally read the alumni newsletters from either of my almas mater, but I make an exception for <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/UQ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UQ</span></a> 's 'love at UQ' series. It's so cute, I really love that the series has evolved to include best friends! Auld Ma Twəgg<p>This little friend was hanging out at UQ the other day. I first met a pair near my place last year before finding a couple nesting under the Eleanor Schonell Bridge. This year, we saw a pair one morning — again, near our place, before a couple set up a nest at UQ. I wonder if they're all the same pair of birds, and if they come down river the same way every year to nest? I also met <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://photog.social/@david" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>david</span></a></span> who took much better pics of the same individual and told me local bird calls!</p><p><a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/Birds" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Birds</span></a> <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/WildOz" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WildOz</span></a> <a href="https://sauropods.win/tags/UQ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UQ</span></a></p>

David de Groot 📸<p>I went out to our Gatton Campus today for a job, and while I charged the car, I took in some of the local bird life. </p><p>The Noisy Miners were busy harassing everyone, the Magpie followed me from tree to tree talking to me, the Crested Pigeon was not interested in being within 20m of me, so took refuge in a Jacaranda tree, and there were several Little Friarbirds flitting about. </p><p><a href="https://photog.social/tags/Bird" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Bird</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/UQ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UQ</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/AustralianWildlife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AustralianWildlife</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/WildOz" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WildOz</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/NoisyMiner" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NoisyMiner</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/AustralianMagpie" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AustralianMagpie</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/CrestedPigeon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CrestedPigeon</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/LittleFriarbird" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LittleFriarbird</span></a></p>
