volker ronneberger<p><a href="https://typo.social/tags/Monotype" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Monotype</span></a> seems to be pushing me to finally look for a new <a href="https://typo.social/tags/webfont" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>webfont</span></a> provider. Suggestions? (How I explain this to my customers is another matter) Seriously, where can I get decent web fonts? Google would be a last resort, but I actually think it's fine if the designers get paid for the fonts.</p>

The <a href="https://typo.social/tags/Webfont" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Webfont</span></a> Library Subscription will be permanently discontinued. I've realized a few small projects about this in the last few years ($120/year for 250,000 page views). There doesn't seem to be a web-only license anymore - at least not for small projects ($2000/year for three fonts I think is a bit excessive).</p>
