TomKrajci 🇺🇦 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️Evening constellation shot looking north, bracketed by trees.Two asterisms are visible: the Big Dipper and the Little Dipper...which are part of the constellations Ursa Major and Ursa Minor.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asterism_(astronomy)" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asterism_(astronomy)</a>I only wanted to capture a small number of stars so that the asterism patterns would not be lost in the clutter. Once Upon a CoasterBig Dipper at Geauga Lake was a John A. Miller designed wooden roller coaster that operated at the park from 1925 to the park's closure in 2007. The out-and-back coaster reached topped heights of 62 feet and top speeds of 35 MPH.The coaster sat abandoned until it was finally torn down in 2016.
