Except that1) vanguard often doesn't sync successfully and needs re-auth 2) apple card sync never worked after syncing once...... 3) the envelope budgeting just doesn't work for me. UtoxinWorking on building out my wishlist for my new budget, finally remembered to add the work I need to get done on my truck to add deep cycle batteries to it, so I have a good power reserve when I want to go do ham radio stuff remotely.Had a deep cycle in my car years ago, and it was fantastic for getting out in the field and setting up. Had to sell that car though, unfortunately. I've been priming Actual Budget with our categories and spending for January so we'd have something to talk about and a view of our spending. Not only did she find the interface super intuitive but liked the concept of envelope budgeting on the big screen and how we could plan ahead for travel and summer camps for the kids by saving incrementally every month. We challenged ourselves to avoid buying non essentials for the year. To decide what is essential we use a traffic light list; Green=essential, like groceries; Yellow=Think carefully, like replacing clothes; Red=Don’t buy. We do have personal allowances which are exempt from this and a budget for experiences. Heather EvansGood evening my tooting friends. I’m pooped & have had a lovely day. I was the first to arrive at the pool today, my friend arrived after I’d done 4 laps & then my new Scot friend also arrived & we all swam 🏊🏼‍♀️ & talked & laughed, it was fabulous & fun. They left before me, but I was feeling so good that I carried on & made that 1km mark again 😃. Very happy. <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Exercise" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Exercise</a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Swimming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Swimming</a>. Before I came home I went & got some cash & off to the greengrocers for some fresh fruit & veg. Mangoes 🥭 are cheap & so are berries 🫐 🍓& apart from that I got mostly salad 🥗 items. <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Groceries" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Groceries</a> Home for lunch & then outside to mulch my veggie patch & am pleased that’s now done. <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Gardening" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Gardening</a> Made a spaghetti bolognaise for dinner & me being me, I made enough for 2 freezer meals, added some mixed beans to the last serve & will cook some rice up tomorrow & have another 2 meals with cheese & sour cream. <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Food" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Food</a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Budgeting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Budgeting</a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/FlowingMyFood" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#FlowingMyFood</a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/JERF" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#JERF</a>.
