Arno BabeleurVendredi 18 avril, je ferai partie des 8 conteuses et conteurs qui se relaieront sur la scène des Zapéro-Contes à <a href="https://piaille.fr/tags/bruxelles" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#bruxelles</a> Rien que le lieu vaut le détour : ça se passe à l'étage de l'Ultieme Hallucinatie, resto installé dans un hôtel particulier Art Nouveau qui a appartenu à la pianiste Marie Pleyel (star mondiale des années 1850). Et les soirées sont chouettes. Les contes (et les styles de celles et ceux qui les disent) sont souvent très variés, on boit un verre à l'entracte et c'est gratuit (avec un chapeau si t'as aimé). Je n'ai pas envie de vous parler ici des problématiques d'appropriations culturelles qui entourent Grey Owl, un trappeur et écrivain anglais s'étant présenté comme "Indien" pendant la grande majorité de sa vie. Non, je veux simplement vous partager cet écrit, qui est une ode à la <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/nature?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#nature</a> : il retrace la vie d'un grand pin, de sa naissance à son abattage. Témoin de siècles passés, dressé jusqu'à l'arrivée de l'homme blanc, l'arbre nous offre une leçon d'humilité et une réflexion sur notre monde et la destruction de ce dernier, bien avant la prise de conscience écologique de ces dernières années. Ce conte fait partie d'un univers de fantaisie construit autour d'un roman que je finirai quand son temps viendra, mais il peut être lu indépendamment et donne un excellent aperçu de mon style d'écriture. 4ème de couverture : "La voyeuse, les morts et la voleuse est un conte très connu, si ce n'est un des plus connu, parmi les peuples des Oubliés d'Astral. Reflet d'une culture moins sombre que ce que l'on imagine trop souvent, il raconte avec beaucoup de poésie l'histoire de deux jeunes filles et de leur amitié solide au-delà de la disparition, de la mort et de l'oubli. Toute la solitude, l'injustice mais aussi l'espoir et les aventures de la vie des Anomalies sont décrites dans ce récit qui a traversé les âges inchangé. Le soir de Noël, postée au sommet du phare dont son oncle Balaou est le gardien, la fillette scrute le ciel pour apercevoir le traîneau et surprendre le vieil homme à barbe blanche dans sa tournée. Mais elle est loin d’imaginer la fabuleuse aventure qu’elle est sur le point de vivre.Mon Avis Le Père Noël existe t-il? Voici une question cruciale. Fondamentale. Existentielle. Philosophique. Hugo, l’ami de Hibiscus, notre petit caribéenne, a fait une annonce fracassante qui affole tous les enfants du village. C’est une nouvelle enquête pour Hibiscus. Mais, motus et bouche cousue. Croix de bois, croix de fer… Mais vous savez, ce grain de sable qui grippe la machine? Eh bien, il est de retour. Et ce n’est pas une bonne nouvelle pour tous les enfants du monde. Le Père Fouettard, le grand ennemi du Père Noël, s’est invité à la distribution des cadeaux. Plutôt, il veut l’empêcher. Que faire? Que va faire Hibiscus?Une fois de plus, Hibiscus nous fait vivre de folles aventures. Dire qu’elle voulait enquêter sur une question existentielle… Maintenant, la voilà dans une mauvaise passe. Sur qui peut-elle compter? Va t-elle trouver une solution, comme elle l’a toujours fait? Des croquis en couleur rendent ce conte de Noël vivant. Ils illustrent bien la situation dans laquelle se trouve notre petite îlienne. Tout y est: suspens, personnages fantastiques, batailles. L’auteur fait voyager le jeune lecteur dont l’imagination devient plus que fertile. Ce dernier accompagne notre jeune héroïne dans ses questionnements et ses recherches de réponse.Encore une énigme que doit résoudre Hibiscus, pour le plus grand plaisir du jeune lecteur. Juste une petite phrase lancée par Hugo, son  ami, et notre petite ilote se frotte le nez, tire sur ses cheveux. Ce qui veut dire qu’elle réfléchit. En général, Hibiscus trouve toujours une solution. Mais là… Chou blanc. Pas l’esquisse d’une moindre idée. Pire, le Père Fouettard s’invite dans cette histoire. Tout le monde a une peur bleue de cet ennemi du Père Noël. Hibiscus n’est pas en reste. Maintenant, elle a deux énigmes à résoudre. Il lui faut l’aide de ses amis. Un peu de magie, peut-être? Comment va-t-elle s’en sortir?
