Lanie Carmelo<p>Hi all. I hope everyone has had or is having a good day. I had a rough one up until this evening. My <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/gastroparesis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gastroparesis</span></a> was causing a lot of symptoms yesterday and last night, I wound up vomiting to get some relief. When I did, I strained a muscle in my throat and that made it very uncomfortable to talk or swallow for most of today. It's doing better now though, although my throat still feels a bit raw. My <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/gout" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gout</span></a>, a new surprise illness caused by some of my meds, was also flaring, and I was exhausted after yesterday, when my mom and I also made a wasted trip an hour away from home for a follow-up CT scan after the surgery I had to place a stent in my head in March to help with my headaches. We got there only to find out that my <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/Medicaid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Medicaid</span></a> <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/healthInsurance" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>healthInsurance</span></a> had denied the procedure. So I spent most of today in bed.<br>I'm now on my computer working on lesson 7 for my <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/Braille" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Braille</span></a> transcription course, checking <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/email" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>email</span></a>, studying <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/JavaScript" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>JavaScript</span></a> on <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/freeCodeCamp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>freeCodeCamp</span></a>, and just generally trying to get things done. I also have a <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/usabilityTesting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>usabilityTesting</span></a> study I need to get started on.<br>I'm really liking the <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/miniPC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>miniPC</span></a> I bought. It's so fast and works great for me. I need <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/Windows11" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Windows11</span></a> for several reasons, so I can't install <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a>, but I'm kind of missing using <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/ArchLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ArchLinux</span></a>, and trying different <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/Windows" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Windows</span></a> <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/apps" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>apps</span></a> just isn't scratching the same itch for me as working with and tweaking my <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/Arch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Arch</span></a> installation did. I loved customizing it exactly how I wanted it, working in the <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/commandLine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>commandLine</span></a>, and trying different packages. Part of me wants to set up an Arch Linux <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/virtualMachine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>virtualMachine</span></a> or dual boot to scratch that itch, but I'm not sure what I'd use it for. Have any Linux and Windows users out there ever felt this way?<br><a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/chronicIllness" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>chronicIllness</span></a> <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/NEISVoid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NEISVoid</span></a> <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/tech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tech</span></a> <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/technology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>technology</span></a></p>
