The 3rd one is a deadstock fabric whose pattern was already a working <a href="https://post.lurk.org/tags/camouflage" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>camouflage</span></a> for opencv.</p><p>The project is fully documented here:<br><a href="http://class.textile-academy.org/2024/stephanie-vilayphiou/project/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">http://</span><span class="ellipsis">class.textile-academy.org/2024</span><span class="invisible">/stephanie-vilayphiou/project/</span></a></p><p>Concerning cctv surveillance, France has recently gone crazy over it... it seems like they want to recognise logos from organisations in protests and faces associated with them... does someone know an opencv algorithm to detect specific images? Or does it necessarily go through machine learning?</p>

Hard is not a dealbreaker, just trying to tune my expectations a bit.</p><p>edit: strictly speaking, it only needs to spot two dogs, that I have many photos of, but a generic dog detector would also be fine.</p>
kandid<p>What does wind look like?</p><p>A movie of how the wind moves the branches. In addition, the Gunnar-Farneback optical flow motion detection is used to recognize areas in the image sequence that have moved. The motion vectors are then used to distort the image.</p><p>The resulting video is then even less stable than the source footage. For mastodon it is highly compressed here as very large movie files are produced using this method.</p><p><a href="https://chaos.social/tags/openCV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>openCV</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Clojure" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Clojure</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/genuary18" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>genuary18</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/genuary2025" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>genuary2025</span></a></p>
