Something fun about that reveal to me of personal and world timelines colliding.Nice to see Chakotay again, though not sure I buy he'd be quite so Starfleet. It also sure looked to me like one of the ceremony assistants was a future Gwyn? Rok needed more to do.

Why is that? Because bloody Paramount cancelled it after 2 Seasons! <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Netflix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Netflix</a> should really be called the “two Season Streamer”! (paramount) Probably (killed it) because they don’t want to pay royalties to cast third season onwards!!! Well they had sent the Protostar off on a new arc, wouldn’t need much of Voyager crew, but hey ho!

rednikkiStar Trek: Prodigy is one of my fave Trek series ever, and you should watch it on Netflix if you haven’t yet. (Heads up: the beginning is a bit like Farscape in the “a bunch of alien prisoners that don’t trust each other steal a ship and have to learn to get along.” So there are several episodes with interpersonal friction. Garrett LeSageI put off watching Star Trek Prodigy until now, as it was marketed "for kids".However, it's one of the best Trek shows overall, and they even infused the best of Star Wars into Star Trek as well. (The first two episodes already feel very Star Wars-y, but it's not just those episodes.)It's an amazing Trek, fits in very well with other Prime universe Trek, and actually surpasses most Star Trek shows — especially of the "new" Trek.There are 2 seasons on Netflix. Given they have fleshed out the new characters fully, hopefully they return to an episodic style Season 3 onwards!
