Many years later, I am still very proud of it!<br> <br> The photo of the kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) is taken 11 meters up in a tree.<br> <br> The kestrel is the most widespread and often most abundant of European birds of prey. It belongs to the falcon family Falconidae, and is also known as the European Kestrel, Eurasian Kestrel, or Old World Kestrel. This species occurs over a large range. It is widespread in Europe, Asia, and Africa, as well as occasionally reaching the east coast of North America. Frank Paul Silye<p>The Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo) is a medium to large bird of prey, whose range covers most of Europe and extends into Asia. It breeds in woodlands. </p><p>Common Buzzards have a wingspan of 100-130cms, with the females weighing as much as 1.3 kg.
