Paddy HatchetAs for the story, it has its ups and downs. Voice acting is generally solid with some standouts, though a lot of the ambient stuff can get a little repetitive. I'm not sure what the story is telling us, and I will try not to over spoil... I think there's some vague approaches to being willing to accept your past mistakes as part of who you are even if they're painful... which is fine. A few solid characterisations get it to stick and the last act manages to be quite touching. <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/rememberme" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#rememberme</a>

Paddy HatchetA lot of the bigger fights become a bit like puzzles themselves, trying to pull together all the steps to get them to work. And lemme tell ya folks... I remain bad at QuickTime events.At a certain point I found it more useful to have a bunch of low level enemies around while dealing with the bigger stuff, seeing them less as threats than as *batteries*... which is terrifying and probably unintentional but sure plays into that classic <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/cyberpunk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#cyberpunk</a> dehumanisation.<a href="https://dice.camp/tags/gaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#gaming</a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/capcom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#capcom</a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/rememberme" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#rememberme</a>

Paddy HatchetThe fighting which makes up much of the game is entertaining with plenty of variety of opponents to keep you on your toes. Some function as classic brawlers, while a lot of the robots become almost like environmental hazards until dealt with.A lot of the Boss Fights tended to drag though. Often it would rely on a single special move to defeat then, which meant if it didn't work first time your stuck dodging and spamming recharge boost combos until it's long cool down resolves. <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/rememberme" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#rememberme</a>

Paddy HatchetI don't know that I ever felt Neo-Paris as a character, though the visual design is certainly very rich. Lots of clutter, but in a way that I think made it feel lived in rather than just overdesigned. Paddy Hatchet... on account of a frequently fixed camera and the fact that I'm playing on a pc and can't "aim" as cleanly as I would with a controller. Assassin's Creed parkour it certainly isn't, but I don't think it's trying to be.It is certainly very stylish. Character design is solid without too much cheesecake, though it does certainly lean into overmuscled men and waifish women. Paddy HatchetNow I don't think Remember Me is a bad game. It has a few stumbles, and is certainly a game made up of a lot of minigames. Which is fine, I really enjoyed the Batman: Arkham series and those are absolutely made up of a bunch of minigames. And I think my relationship with this game is similar. The free-flowing combat is fun and the customisable combos give you interesting options.
