Today we leave Arizona, where we've been waiting for our visas, staying with my in-laws. Tomorrow, the Spanish consulate of San Francisco has a half hour window open to anyone picking up their visa. You have to pick them up in person. Why a half hour? I don't know. I'm very anxious about it. Our int'l flight leaves the next day. Wish us luck! #Spain #Travel #Emigration #Expatriation #SeeYaAmerica #WatchingTheNextElectionFromFarAwayWithAGlassOfWineAndGreatHealthcare
@AdrianAsturAlvarez Suerte!! Hope everything goes smoothly!
@SoniSaFr thank you so much!
@AdrianAsturAlvarez Good Luck! Where are you moving to in Spain?
@julieandersonwriter thank you, Julie. We're moving to the Kingdom of Asturias. Land of Chef José Andrés!
@AdrianAsturAlvarez exciting times! I’ve not yet explored northern Spain. Keep meaning to, then I check the weather and decide to stay in the south!
@Steveb lol you, sir, are not from Seattle :-)
@AdrianAsturAlvarez Ireland. How much worse is Seattle?
@Steveb ah, you know? Probably the same though we might have less wind. I absolutely love overcast and drizzly weather, though.
“ I absolutely love overcast and drizzly weather, though.”
You sir, are a total wrongun. ;-)
I don’t do well in cooler temperatures. Other than the obvious dislike of the wet cold the arthritis in my elbows and shoulders gets worse, and the head colds bring on my Ménière’s disease.
I’m off to Malaga Saturday, can’t wait for the heat.
