new themes
I’m not currently writing, but, instead—gasp!—editing, the stage when I find any themes & deepen them, this is when the true magic happens.
One thread in Book3, Exhuming Truths (a prequel), follows Maniff & how he isn’t dealing with grief & guilt. It’s also about the power of love.
The other thread follows Glistenelle. It’s also about the power of love, but also how true love makes you stronger & builds your self-esteem.
@CA_Hawthorne still a great place to answer this prompt from. Technically I'm updating interior files, covers, meta data and publishing ebooks on new direct platforms of late, which is decidedly less helpful/ fun.
@ElisesWritings Most questions make the unstated assumption that all we do is draft. That’s maybe true for some, and I realize that editing questions aren’t popular, so I have to adapt to answer (or not answer).
@CA_Hawthorne my time split between drafting and editing is probably 50-50, while my life to writerly/ authorly is at least 80-20 against writerly, so I write most of my responses with a grain of salt.
