I missed #WhiteCane day for the #Blind and #DeafBlind . I I think I was sick at the time.
No surprise with my list of multiple and chronic illnesses.
I have been working on getting my blog back up and running.
So check out an old post, and learn a little more about living with limited vision and blind.

Life as a late adult blinded person is quite different than being born blind.
There is a lot of change to adjust to. A lot of fear to overcome.
1 /2
When a person loses their vision changes how easy it is to learn the techniques they will need.
These techniques have to also be adjusted based on the varying amounts, and predictability of remaining vision, hearing, and mobility disabilities among other life issues.
Also, as an adult, you are expected to learn it almost instantly, and be back to a "productive" working adult.
Learning takes longer. As does finding reliable transportation!
Take care, and time.
