When you have encountered *text* and suspected it was AI generated what caused you to feel something was off?
@futurebird Other: we were offered a free year of virtual PT through our insurance. My first "visit" was with someone over the phone, but all subsequent consultants were text based. At first it just gave me the exercises and asked me to rate my pain, etc, but then the questions started getting uncanny, asking me to tell them what I liked best, what exercises worked best for what, and none of it was conversational anymore. I stopped answering when I realized I was training the app.

That sounds exactly like the BS someone described yesterday about their experience with that insurance company whose CEO was shot.
@clara_c @futurebird yeah, the suspicuous part is that it was only one year and this year we have a different "free virtual perk" being offered.

Virtual PT offered as official health care is ridiculous. Text-based PT? That's going to help you do the exercises correctly and avoid potential injury from doing them incorrectly? You could probably do better watching YouTube exercise videos.
@clara_c @futurebird the only thing I appreciated was that there was an audible timer, but there are free apps for that
