Maybe make the location of the dungeon obvious and easy to find. There might still be a reason no one wants to go there.
@golgaloth i have a dream of running a #ttrpg #dnd tooth-themed campaign. Rather than have the party start at a tavern, have them all meet at the world's equivalent of a dentist; a goblin tooth drawer/busker who works on all sorts of creatures mighty and the meek, has various magical assistants, tools. Everybody with teeth has teeth probs. this NPC has acquired a rep. They need all sorts of odd errands run and have lots of info from their clients if the PCs are interested.
@bluedragon There was a nice tooth scene in the fairy market in Kingfishers, Nettle and Bone, which might give you a bit of inspiration. Check it out. It's a fun read.

@bluedragon @golgaloth It’s about a dentist who treats an alien with toothache, and gets kidnapped. It’s not the best sci-fi ever but it seems relevant to your concept.
