She flicked the water with blue-tipped fingers and smiled as he wiped the salt from his face, her full lips curving upwards to reveal pointed teeth. Terrifying and haunting; she was the most beautiful creature he'd ever seen. He smiled back. She bit the side of her bottom lip and laughed again—such a beautiful sound—and then the currents pushed him closer to her as if she had willed it.
