I've heard lots of opinions over the years about how to stand when #boxing and what I'd like to understand is why a wide stance gets shit talked as a bad thing. anyone know why?

all I know is Justis Huni stands wide as fuck and he has had tremendous success, is a national heavyweight champion, and he is extraordinarily mobile, evasive, and versatile from it. so what's the basic idea that a wide stance is somehow disadvantageous?

When I was a kid I loved watching #boxing. It wasn't pay-per-view then, just regular broadcast TV. I remember Foreman, Ali, Frazier, Sugar Ray, etc. Those were amazing years of boxing.
