Last pictures from today's batch of scans.
This is CalTrain's South County Connector that runs from San Jose to Gilroy, the last holdout of the old diesel trains. It runs out into the country so it's painted with agricultural designs, especially garlic.
The picture with just one train car distinguishes the train from the sky much better than the shot of multiple cars. I took a look at the negatives, and actually, in both cases, there really isn't very good separation. Somehow in one picture the scanner is doing some nice enhancements that helps, so it comes out better than I can take credit for.
I think the lesson here is that that I should have used a yellow filter.

#RedwoodCity has a new free public toilet at the #CalTrain station.
You can't just go in. You need to have a card, or scan a QR code, or send an SMS for access. The SMS way didn't work but the QR did. So it's smartphone only, unless you have the card.
I suppose if you trash it your access will be blocked or something.

Does anyone know if there is a convenient way to get a map of "all #sfmuni vehicles near me"?
Because sometimes you would just need to walk over a block to get on a parallel line, and that could be the best option.
Or if you get off #CalTrain at 4th & King, and want to get downtown, you have a lot of choices. And you might just want to get on whatever's coming first, but the stops are in different places.

Found out the hard way you're supposed to pay for parking at San Bruno #CalTrain even on weekends.
And there's a service fee to pay the ticket online. If they wanna wait for USPS to bring them a check, then so be it.

Here's why #CalTrain was messed up this morning. (You can see a bit of work on the overhead starting about 3:10).

I've figured ever since electrification that something like this was going to happen eventually (I was more expecting a fallen tree) and then we'd find out how on the ball they are about getting things fixed. Getting overhead fixed in a couple of hours is not bad, really.

Got a new batch of film processed. Here's a few samples. These are all #mediumformat/#120film (some of them hacked up into 620 rolls), in a variety of mostly low-end vintage cameras.
These are from a Kodak Duaflex and/or a Brownie Hawkeye--it took me a while to get around to getting everything developed and I'm a little hazy on what I took on what.
The first picture is from the 22nd St #CalTrain station and I feel like this is the artsiest picture I've ever taken.
The #CableCar barn picture was taken late at night. There's a little brick wall by the entrance, and I propped it there for a crazy-long exposure, maybe 30sec. I'm always happy when that sort of thing actually works.
