The district #maps for Return of the Ripper are finally done! The maps depict the the four quarters of the District of Spittle-Fields: Spittle-Fields Market, the Tenements, the White Chappel and the Benevolent Craftsmen's Quarter.

The four maps will be printed at tabloid/A3 size and fit together to make one large map of the entire district.

Thanks to @Printdevil for help with researching 16th-century maps of London and to @wfgWorkshop for the realisation.

Mail day! Got a box from Goodman Games including some pre-XCC Xcrawl adventures I was missing, the stretch goal pack for Crypt of the Devil Lich (one of the Kickstarters I didn’t back; a warehouse find), Grimtooth’s Trapsylvania in hardcover, the Hobonomicon #4 and Inferno Road zines, the Blackout in Crater Valley “VHS Era Slasher RPG” zine, and the XCC dice set.

Moving along, in 2025, I'll tackle a new, weekly #OSE game (#TheHallsOfArdenVul), as well as continuing campaigns of OSE, #CallOfCthulhu, #DCCRPG, #DnD5e, #TheOneRing, and #TravellerRPG from 2024. And at the very least, I'll get to play in person at #CanCon, if not other cons and game days (possible now because I've finally settled down in a city). In all likelihood, I'll probably finally catch COVID, but that's the price of assembling in crowds these days, I guess.

Last night was session 20 in my Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG campaign. The heroes used a Speak With Dead scroll to interrogate a mummified sorcerer, seeking knowledge that can be used to defeat the Emerald Enchanter.

Happy with the answers to their questions, they magnanimously asked if they could perform a favor for the dead wizard. Once the current adventure is done, they agreed to deliver his dead body in its sarcophagus to distant Punjar. Mummy road trip!

Just backed Overworld Omnibus, a collection of video game-inspired (Zelda, Castlevania, Mario, Mega Man, Metroid) monster zines for Dungeon Crawl Classics and 5e. I own some of the original zines and I’m happy to see them collected in a hardcover.

I’ve backed other projects by Bloat Games and they’ve been speedy and generous with bonuses.
