Ian Dury & the Blockheads - "Hit me with your rhythm stick", on video.

Olivia Newton John - "A little more love". Repeated from last year, the pink blouse pops against the stark black backdrop.

Racey - "Lay your love on me" Not *quite* the theme from Kick Start, but close enough.

As part of my job I make regular use of the clinically useful Distress Screen, a Likert scale for quickly ascertaining things that might need addressing when consulting with a patient. I take issue with the name. 'Distress'. It is alarming and many people prefer instead to pretend everything is fine.

I propose instead, a similar scale starting from the other end of the spectrum. It shall be named, 'Reasons To Be Cheerful'

More from Chris Bond

It took me a long time to understand Ian Dury's song I Want To be Straight.

It's something like a Users Anonomous meeting.
Everyone introduces themself.
And then they talk about what they want and what they don't like about using and what not using would mean for them.
And there is some repetition of some ideas.

It's only been 45 years so maybe I haven't got it all figured out right yet. Tell me if I've got it wrong or what I've missed.
