🌏 Little friarbird (Philemon citreogularis)

The little friarbird, also known as the little leatherhead or yellow-throated friarbird, is a medium-sized honeyeater with a grey body and robust, down-curved beak. It is found in eastern Australia and southern Papua New Guinea, inhabiting various habitats, including rainforests, eucalypt forests, and coastal heaths. Little friarbirds are known for their loud, raucous calls and aggressive territorial behavior, often chasing away other birds from feeding sites.
