Revisiting #Pinafore for the linux desktop and so far so good, but… is there no hotkey for the 'More' button at the *bottom* of a list? '.' only goes to the top, but if I'm catching up after an absence, I would refresh with . and then scroll *down* (infinite scroll turned off) until I hit a mouse-only wall.

Also ich muss jetzt echt mal Werbung für #Pinafore machen.
Pinafore ist ein Web-client für Mastodon und läuft in einem Tab. Es lässt sich leicht den eigenen Bedürfnissen anpassen und hat z.B. auch Wellness settings ("These settings are partly based on guidelines from the Center for Humane Technology").
Pinafore ist schnell, lädt Bilder viel zügiger als bsplw. Mozilla selbst und wenn man antwortet, hat man über dem Antwortfeld das, worauf man antwortet, scrollbar. Ideale Lösung für Mastodon am Handy IMO.
Es ist darüber hinaus #foss und läuft sogar auf meinem uralt-smartphone.

Does anyone know if there's an actively maintained fork of the @pinafore / @semaphore fediverse web app?

Have to use #pinafore in order to be able to use Mastodon at such slow WiFi of my father's...

So, after I posted yesterday, around 7:38-8:00 the whole electricity went out....we were at our friends house...

Now we're safely back at our house, our friends arleady got power back at their house, but at our house the power is still out...

So, that's how #Florida works...

Is anyone maintaining a fork of #Semaphore or #Pinafore (the fedi UI web app)? I've been using Semaphore but the upstream is archived now.

So I've spent some time playing around with different #Mastodon webclients. Out of #ElkZone, #Litterbox, #Pinafore, #Phanpy, #Trunks, #Mastodeck and #Brutaldon I've found Elk and Pinafore to be my favorites (single column, clean look and sufficiently large text).

Was wondering if anyone know of any other great web clients though as always looking for new ones (especially self-hostable).

Love the plethora of clients available in the Fediverse!

I can highly recommend the Pinafore Progressive Web App (PWA) for Mastodon. I've used it for quite a while an Android mobile, Windows and today I have tried using it via the build in browser on my LG 65# TV . The LG browser supports a Split view making it possible to toot and watch TV at the same time (see attached picture). Nice!

I have a lot of development hopes for fedi software and services, but my top one, by far, is a #PWA client that would combine @pinafore's speedy, offline-friendly LocalStorage based toot cache and minimal DOM memory use with @phanpy's awesome UI innovation.

Does anyone know of lightweight web frontends for #Calckey or #Firefish or whatever they're calling themselves now? Kinda like #Pinafore for #Mastodon. It just feels so atrociously heavy here on Firefox Android.
