It’s Talk Like a Pirate Day and today I learned there were two pirates in the early 1700s who were women and disguised themselves as men.

One thing about the duo I couldn't substantiate, although I really want to believe is true, is that they would often open their shirt and expose a breast when they killed a man just so the man’s last thought would be the realization he was killed by a woman.

I also want to believe they were #lesbian as well because… yay! women!
