Here is a perfect example of what can happen to a project that gets ZERO marketing money. I don't have AppleTV+, so I don't know if it was marketed on the channel at all, but I know I never saw an ad for this anywhere and only heard about it because I'm always online. The critics really seemed to like it. Maybe I'll watch it if it drops on Netflix.

I really enjoyed #AppleTv series #TimeBandits

Certainly it differs from the #TerryGilliam film but it was a good adventure with some laughs & pathos. Felt quite like #DoctorWho in parts and a lot better than most recent episodes of that, I’m afraid

Just finished to the new #TimeBandits. Some of it was pretty great. It got a little too episodic, and there were a few episodes in the middle that could've been a brief time-travel montage. But lots of it was laugh-out-loud funny (like teaching the neanderthals British slang ), and whenever it focused on the main plot, it was great story telling.

Picturing Ian Holm's portrayal of Napoleon in Time Bandits when I think of Macron now.....

Watched the first episode of "Time Bandits" on Apple TV last night and I have to say that Kevin reminds me far too much of my very nerdy, misunderstood, history-loving childhood (minus the time-travel part of course). The scene where he spouts off random history facts about football / soccer to his disinterested peers hit really close to home. I don't have a good photo of me but even the glasses were similar at one point....

I didn’t realise that AppleTV+ are releasing two episodes of Time Bandits each Wednesday. I just assumed it was one after the initial drop of two. I watched Episode 3 yesterday. I see that Episode 4 is available on my Up Next on AppleTV.

I’ll watch Episode 4 after I finish reading Good Omens.

I might rewatch Good Omens on Prime soon too.
