hmmm .. kernel 6.14.0 solved by amdgpu problems in #tumbleweed. No more artefacts

También me alegro por lo bien que te va la vista, en el mío de 15,6 con FHD a veces me cuesta y si al final pones todo más grande pues ya ves

Man, I really want to try #OpenSuSE #Tumbleweed again, but I can't figure out how to get polkit to work without a valid root password (using the user's password).
Because the root account should never have a usable password.

@inlovewithpda I had some issues recently where I had to disable quotas, reboot and then enabled them again. My issue disappeared this way. (I had to re-enabled quotas as snapper heavily relies on them and having snapper and btrfs snapshots is one of the killer features of #Tumbleweed)

So I think I found my linux-home in #tumbleweed. (Almost) everything runs fine. Almost ever app can be found in the repository.
Only btrfs-checker is a bit annoying, because it sometimes freezes the system for a second. Looking for a solution...
Today I was in the mood and packaged #regal and #opa for @opensuse
Packages still need more testing, but the first steps are done. Found a glitch in the OPA ldflags handling and reported it upstream.
Should arrive in #Tumbleweed soon-ish.
OK, today I took some time and finally reworked the #semaphoreui package for @opensuse. I had it on my todo list for ages and never got around to it. It was already 90% finished but lacking some fine details.
Now I have properly cleaned it up and removed the "ansible-" from the name, as it is no longer just for executing #Ansible code. Apparently Semaphore can now execute #terraform #opentofu and #pulumi code as well.
I'll do more testing before I send it to #Tumbleweed.
In other words: new vagrant-libvirt setup incoming! :-)

@opensuse Great to hear! I was thinking about trying out #tumbleweed again (was using it in on my laptop back in 2023), now I've got a reason :)
