Continuing to share favourite images from my 30+ year photographic career. Current focus is on bikes. Here, a couple of competitors in the legendary Three Peaks Cyclo-Cross race, on the summit plateau of the first peak, Ingleborough, with the second, Whernside, in the background. I liked the feeling of isolation here, but in fact there were lots of people around.

Hello Mastodon. We have just moved server to social.vivaldi.net and would like to introduce ourselves here.
Bristol CX is a small, informal cycling club in the UK whose members race cyclo-cross.
We usually compete in the #WesternLeague and occasionally #WessexLeague, #NationalTrophy and Three Peaks Race (#3PCX).
We also organise races, most recently at Upton Cheyney between Bristol and Bath.
We’re looking forward to joining everyone here and especially any other cycling clubs out there.

Merckx enjoyed the Maasmechelen World Cup #cyclocross races in bed today. The women’s race was especially exciting. The men’s race had the potential to be exciting, but it appears Wout Van Aert needs to hone up on his cross skills if he wants to take on MvdP. Which isn’t going to happen as this was his last race of his short season #CatsOfMastodon #CouchPeloton
