After a long-winded answer, Carney looked directly at PP & indicated it was more than a China problem & left the rest hanging implying PP knew why. Consider that last night RebelNews got to pose the majority of questions to the leaders inside the venue while having a box truck outside sporting nonsense about WEF.

As Ezra said before the French debate last night : "We're going to make it our debate."

The only shift I see coming out of the debates is maybe a little boost for the NDP - PP certainly did not gain, likely lost some waverers, Carney likely gained some

Now it's a question of turnout, which is expected to be high. People know this is a consequential election - and the ground game of the parties.

Tomorrow the advance polls are open in Canada. This is my first time working the election as a Deputy Returning Officer.

Voting is important and elections have consequences.

As I replay different moments from the leader’s debate there’s one part that my brain keeps circling back to: there was a moment when Carney was talking about Poilievre’s refusal to obtain a security clearance, and in rebuttal to Poilievre’s claim that it would prevent him from speaking on issues of election interference, Carney purposely, directly mentions Chinese interference and then makes a remark directly to Poilievre about interference from other countries, before discontinuing the attack by saying “I’ll leave it at that”.

Did anyone else catch that?

It takes a special type of temerity for Yves-François Blanchet to pretend to speak for all of Quebec when the Bloc Québécois is sitting at 25% in the QC polls.
