Here's the #monsterdon graphs for #TheCatGirl1957

There are fun phrases like "Animal people london" and "someone say kill kill" and "Leonora much love Brian".

The word cloud has lots of large words. I think that's because there was less variation. Some weeks you'll see a word like Critter said 1500 times and then the next most popular word was said like 75 times. So you get lots of small words because the popular words were orders of magnitudes bigger.

@futurebird I’m sure I’m oversimplifying somehow, but it seems like a modified/alternate type of hastag would do the job: “Only people who follow ~#monsterdon or #monsterdon will see anything tagged ~#monsterdon.” Which, here comes the oversimplification, could just be a matter of readers dropping anything with a ~# tag by default.

Automatically pulling the tag into replies to it would help naturally channel the big chatty discussions into opt-in-only affairs.

Yes it's charming to have warning posts about the incoming onslaught of #monsterdon posts each Sunday. The monsterdon people are very considerate all things considered. But, it feels like swimming upstream. We need a groups feature.

I have thought about doing many fun things here, but rejected it because I don't want to spam people more than I already do. Groups ideally would have a customizable landing page, members list, the ability to view only posts from the group. Nothing huge.

Thanks @Taweret for hosting another awesome #monsterdon, as well as @JoeWynne for the weekly cocktail and @Cherizilla for the Bingo! Also the entire group for making this movie somewhat tolerable. Quite the feat as I've literally used this movie to treat insomnia in the past!

This week brought us (the?) Cat Girl, a typical 50's British cinema monsterpiece that didn't have too much in the way of monsters, action, or even likable characters.

Since the movie itself wasn't so noteworthy here are some suggested improvements in case anyone wants to pick up the IP and redux it:

- ten minute dream sequence where the cat girl is staring at a wall the whole time.
- butthole edit (humans only)
- Convince Mike Meyers to star in a remake playing 5 different characters with 7 different accents.
- tasteful sideboob
- Lead actress coughs up a food covered hairball at one point. Returns later in the movie to lick food off of the hair.
- catgirl conversion gas attack on pub.

@LoganFive Thank you! Much appreciated!

...the thought crosses my mind that this is the "worst" time of the week for your poll to cross my timeline because I'm always in a much better mood on Sunday evening after #Monsterdon . (Do you participate? If not, I'd recommend it, it's a very effective distraction.)

Okay, so The Cat Girl, but directed by Andy Warhol in 1967, with the Velvet Underground doing an improv soundtrack. Lots of nudity, lots of drag queens, an orgy, somebody peeing in a litterbox. Definitely more heroin. That would've been a movie.
