G&T went to the #Budgie doctor for their check-up and pedicures today

Both are healthy, weighing in at around 38g

We're home, and they are now exploring their cage, eating treats, and listening to music

I wonder how long it will take them to forgive me this time?

I've managed a propper clean of the fridge today...
Full defrost of its freezer etc... it's all sparlky and fresh smelling

I found a beer...? I'll need to find someone to donate it to!

Tomorrow it will be the turn of the chest freezer

It is the perfect time as both are pretty much empty after the WEATHER event

There were a few perishables missed in the big fridge empty out after the blackout .. now sorted

Hopefully you achieve something (even if it is a nap) today and maybe find a pleasant surprise

It's been quite a busy day

Gardening workshop this morning
(Apparently, I am supposed to be preparing to plant European temperate climate summer plants)

Cyclone Alfred is still hanging around the coast and is expected to make landfall, maybe Thursday... goodness knows where, so it's a watch and wait

I've put the garden furniture into the shed / garage and have left room for the more delicate plants

A bit more prep to do... but i should de ready if Alfie comes to visit

I saw a noisy miner * 8
I saw a kookaburra
I heard an eastern koel
I saw a crow * 3
I saw a plover (masked lapwing) * 2
I saw a little corella
I saw a rock pigeon * 3 (not native)

Hopefully, you get to experience some of the joy nature has to offer

On my #SWfmMH today I went to the shops to do a bit of essentials shopping. Then I saw this little beginner crochet kit sitting all forlornly on a table amongst cups and other miscellaneous items, I couldn't resist temptation.. it was on throw out.. it was lonely..
