I want to focus on cleaning up the project and getting some of the many smaller tasks done in V 0.5.1. This means there won't be any big, exciting feature like the mount system this time.
To keep things interesting, I want to hold another art contest this month.
Done with all major projects, so it's time to get silly. Here's another one for the #mushroom enthusiasts: I call this one "The Sporealists"

I made a procedural rock generator! The rocks will act as resource nodes in tribal stage, allowing you to gather clay and stone.

Made some progress on the village building! It's still very rough, but looking cool already. Didn't manage to work on anything else last week, because real life is really stressful right now.
Did some work on the inventory. Item backgrounds have gradients now and the construction menu can now load and display your custom huts, that you made in the hut editor!
...And Kibby's hut also isn't extremely tiny anymore.
Bad News: The village building prototype wasn't very successful.
Good News: Kibby is a proud home owner now!
The lighting for different times of day has been further improved and there are now cheats to instantly make it day / night, aswell as a tiny slider to manually set a specific time!
The day / night cycle has now been fully integrated into creature and tribal stage! Here you can see the valley biome at dusk! A little clock in the top right corner helps you to keep track of time and also tells you the weather when hovering over it.
To make placing nests and huts easier, the camera now automatically zooms out while choosing a position and the maximum distance is highlighted with a semi-transparent white ring.
New Hut Parts (6/6) Second Decal Set
Roseae has finished the second set of tribal stage decals! They will be released with the new update, later today. Some icons are missing, but they will be added in the next version, just like last time.
New Hut Parts (4/6) Gable / Barrel Roof
I'm experimenting with different roof types right now. The gable roof is guaranteed to be in the update. I've played around with different curve shapes, but most seemed too fancy for tribal stage.
Morphs have been added to a lot of hut parts, allowing you to change their shape in different ways. Valid use cases include:
- Building a castle
- Imprisoning the imposter
New Hut Parts (2/6) Square / Tri Hole
Some nice wooden window designs. Yes, I know their placement is slightly asymmetrical. Please don't kill me.
New Hut Parts (1/6) Plain Door + Decal Signs
Added a new door, matching the style of the round window. Decals also turn into signs now, when placed on edges or overhangs.
