“Prism Palace"
Shot on my Diana F+ with a kaleidoscopic prism (stolen from some cheap "rave goggles") embedded in the body of the camera (between the aperture and film). The colors and white, crystalline lines are from the prism.
Taken at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, originally built in 1915 for the Panama–Pacific International Exposition. It was designed to look like ancient Roman ruins.

Could not motivate myself for quite some time to take photos.
Then the day before christmas eve I was in #Hamburg (#Buxtehude to be precise) for a small concert - that got me some drive to take a few photos - finally.
A few I consider "postable", let's see which ones I am going to share.
Wanna start with a picture I took in Hamburg Main station.
Played with the fun programs of my Fuji X-E3. Preset used was #toycamera - I bet almost every cam on the market has a similar program.
I am afraid I cannot take credit for the red color of the train mirroring the red dress of that woman and the red bags nearby. But it fits. Lucky shot. ^_^

This is definitely the crappiest camera that I own. The digital files on the computer are utter useless but still: thanks to the thermal print option this camera makes tremendous fun. Even more than a Phomemo printer ...

I really want to try medium format film, but I don’t have a medium format camera and I really don’t want to spend any noteworthy amount of money on one.
Should I get a Holga (a cheap plastic toy camera that just happens to shoot medium format film) just to dip my toes into the water, so to speak? Will that turn me off of the whole thing, or will it send me spiraling down a rabbit hole that my bank account and I will never recover from?
Why can’t I just make a decision?
On an unrelated note, our drive to Vermont to see the kids tomorrow has been postponed for one day. That should not make me sad (we’ll see them Sunday instead of Saturday) but it really makes me sad. I think I might be overtired. Everything is getting to me right now. Go take a nap, Robert.
