Writing #traumacore and said this to my Alpha reader:

"That's how you ruin someone. You take out the pillars of their foundation, remove their safety nets, and let them hit not just rock bottom, but rock bottom's basement where they bury the trauma in order to move on, or get buried by the trauma."

This is what happens when I get too deep in the head of the antagonist, which is the only way I get through writing these bits.
