I'm surprised to see that there is no #webscrobbler support for radio-browser.info/ ... given there are 141K station clicks *yesterday*

Station count at the moment: 54011
Station clicks last hour: 6628
Station clicks last day: 141416
Distinct tags: 11032
Distinct countries: 237

Regardless of how you arrive at a station (browser, search, geo map etc.) once you play a station, it shows up as a player strip at bottom of page which persists playing as you navigate. Easy? Hard?

@n8chz I'm learning new terms, thank you!

I've been testing #ListenBrainz for the past few months, and I feel like it also has a #PESOS -ish approach.

I can listen to music on different platforms (web, mobile) and services (#Bandcamp, #Tidal, YouTube, SoundCloud, #Spotify, etc.), #scrobble/track those listens with a variety of open source apps like #WebScrobbler and #PanoScrobbler, and it all comes together in a single list of listens tracked in real-time.

@limebar

Talking about #WebScrobbler, while there is already a connector for #JamCoop streaming, no-one's made one for @radiofreefedi and @mirlo yet.

For the latter there is already an issue at github.com/web-scrobbler/web-s , but it has become stale.

I did manage to cobble something together for the main #RFF channel (but only on my local copy of the extension), but got lost trying to add comfy and special too.

@limebar

Wow!

First of all, thank you for your excellent taste 😂

Secondly, there may just be the thing for you:

I've ditched lastfm for ListenBrainz, which I can scrobble to from my phone using #PanoScrobbler and on my desktop straight from my media player (#MusicBee) or my browser using #WebScrobbler.

There are a few things that don't get scrobbled, most sadly #Faircamp, but on the plus side one can create nice collages and stats of what they listened to, eg listenbrainz.org/user/axwax/st
