Finally, puzzle time!
I open the box, set the lid aside and free the puzzle pieces from the bag.
Both hands move in tandem, finding edge pieces, eyes scan the picture on the lid.
The edge complete, I move to sort pieces by colour, smiling.
“Captain?”
I sigh. “Yes, ship?”
“I’m approaching Carus5. Arrival in ten minutes.”
I grin. “Slow down to half speed.”
“Why? Oh no, a puzzle?”
“Shut up.”
“Slowing to quarter speed. You’re no speed puzzler.”
“Shut up!”
Side note: I really love jigsaw puzzles and speed puzzling is a favourite thing to watch 
this story is an ode to both!
