It's a while I'm thinking of a #WindPowered #AirCompressor, not just because to use wind is "cool" and "trendy", but mainly because the air compressor is the noisiest thing I have in my workshop.

Also, to store compressed air is far cheaper than to fill batteries, and there is no need of cadmium, lithium or other nasty chemicals: an old gas bottle is enough.

I have seen that article some time ago allready, but only today took the time to read it in full.

I was hoping for something like "buy a few low-cost, standard components and easily try it out for yourselfe", but that's not in there.

What made me search for and read the article today was that #LIDL currently has a #aircompressor (with a 24 l pressur tank) for sale at 99 €.
That's something I could afford with my current "gadget"-budget.
