OK, so I've read the Matrix Reloaded and Animatrix parts of @tillybridges's excellent book #BeginTransmission. It's been a slow go just because this month has been crazy for me, but it's also good because I tend to rush through things.
Once again I'm SO impressed with the deft skill she's shown in unpacking the Wachowski sisters vision. Entire college courses have been offered on this subject. And they got the philosophy but missed the allegory that is honestly self-evident once you see it. 1/
Ok @tillybridges , I finished the chapters of #BeginTransmission to the end of the first movie. My biggest thought so far is that I was very much Cypher for most of my life, and betrayed myself and put myself back in the Matrix both consciously and unconsciously.
THAT blew my mind. I crushed and buried my authentic self SO many times over the years. I usually call those doubts Gremlins, but Cypher fits just as well!
