I’ve got couple of openings in my fantasy baseball league, with a live draft scheduled for this Sunday 3/16 at 8pm EDT on Yahoo

It’s a 16-team points league, with an auction draft. The league has been running since 2003, and most of us have been playing together since the mid-80s.

The league is free and geared at having fun. Casual owners or anyone just wanting to try out fantasy baseball are welcomed.

Given the current circumstances here in the U.S. among those with working moral compasses and brain cells, it does feel a bit like whistling in the graveyard to discuss this, but I guess one way to #resist is to seek joy in one's life.

About this time last year, I was considering forming or joining a #FantasyBaseball league on Mastodon - in fact, I first contacted @RVLara23 about exactly such a thing - and was now wondering if anyone else [ @RuthODay @olliethewobbly @tabletopmania @APBAreplay ] would be interested.

The last time I played in such a league, we kept the stats ourselves, which gives you an idea how long ago that was. There are services out there now for doing so, but I don't have a clear idea which one people like, so I'm open to recommendations.

This would just be something to have fun with...nothing too involved or dramatic. I don't even have a clear idea how many people we're looking for, tbh.

Feel free to boost, though, to those who may be interested.
