Turns out that Max MSP supports LUA, and even can evaluate expressions that users supply through text input fields. Nice! I used that feature to write a Max for Live plugin that filters MIDI notes (or generates them) based on user supplied expressions.

@miketorr hi! Thanks! Never heard of midinous, will check it out! I did not write anything theoretical about asymmetric rhythms, but I will! My most beloved composers are Respighi and Stravinsky, so the rhythms come from this latter!
To me it has been a natural development from experiments I made, like INTERSECTIONS.
