Revising an academic journal paper, at that stage of needing to cut many hundreds of words to get back under the word count after adding things per reviewer feedback. Being really brutal in places! What was Paddington Bear's name before he came to London? Aunt Lucy didn't just call him "bear" surely.
My 2 minute seach suggests he was named Pastuso, after his uncle.
But why didn't The Browns just ask him his name when they first met him? Why the need to rename him?
These are the things that keep me up at night.
