We're supposed to trust these people with our lives, could they not be so blatantly creepy all the time?

This sort of 'curiosity' would get you immediately fired in the Finance industry but it's just 'fun and games' to these creepy boot-stompers.

The Guardian · Police viewed sensitive files on Sarah Everard out of ‘curiosity’, panel hearsBy Tom Ambrose

Thanks for sharing.

"Yet to read Angiolini’s report is to wonder whether policing in its current form is even capable of delivering such a vigorous response. And if not, as she chillingly concludes, there is absolutely nothing to stop it happening again."

I really worries me that #police who are given such power are not prevented from abusing this power

You might call it another face of #facism

#SarahEverard RIP

Can #women trust the #police?

As Gaby Hinsliff concludes, having read the report into the circumstances & (in)actions that surrounded, and led to the abduction & murder of #SarahEverard.... not really!

There, at the moment, seems little reassure anyone that sexual predators do not wear Police uniforms... indeed, whatever the protestations the #Police seem to be remarkably uninterested in getting to grips with the violent #toxicmasculinity within its ranks.

The Guardian · I read the Couzens report expecting evidence of rank misogyny. What I found was almost worseBy Gaby Hinsliff

The #AngioliniEnquiry has just reported on the policeman #WayneCouzens' murder of #SarahEverard in 2021.
She comments on the standards of behaviour/attitudes in the #MetropolitanPolice [and predictably says 'something must be done'].

Exploitation/ill-treatment of women by senior police officers is not new - one of the 7 basic plots of literature: what about #Scarpia's treatment of #Tosca?
(Violent conquest tastes better than honey-sweet consent.)

#MalePoliceTreatmentOfWomen

Murderer, rapist......and Nonce

How many others are running around in The Met right now, female colleagues too frightened to report them, male colleagues too shit to call them out.

Nothing will change either, having murderous and rapey Police Officers is part of the plan, to intimidate and bully us.

No attempt to rebuild pubic trust has been made since the murder of Sarah Everard, they pretend like it never happened.

"Vetting processes have failed"
"Nothing done to prevent this from happening again"

The bigotry, and misogyny in the Force is not being dealt with, it's systemic and intentional.
The Establishment wants it that way. Watch the Tories look the other way on this, prevent London from having any say in it's own Police Force (the Home Office picks the top Met copper, it is imposed on us)
