Welp, it's back to work tomorrow and I am in no way prepared for it, so here's the Sunday Scaries (Monday Edition) of THREE GOOD THINGS™️!

🥪 I did a meal plan and made lunches for the week.

🧺 Plenty of clean laundry.

🧊 I have all the way until Thursday before I need to, somehow, get the car out of the frozen-solid driveway.

Some days we just do the best we can, fam, what little things helped you out mentally today?

As the #snow beats down on New England tonight, we're staying curled up at home by the fire with some #hemp #tea. Here's a warm and snuggly edition of THREE GOOD THINGS™️!

🏥 We're both feeling almost recovered today.

🛌🏻 Clean sheets and blankets on the bed tonight.

🗓️ Monday is a holiday, so I have a whole extra day to get my weekend chores done!

What small but happy things are you #thankful for today?

+ lovely Korean hotpot, bibimbap, banchan last nite

+ Majestic Earl Grey tea as I work on Day 3 of Program Management crash course

+ Edited LinkedIn profile, AboutMe and Beacons.ai pages today with quantified achievements / impact statements about my work (highlighting my Marketing, Design, Psychology expertise and education) so I can be the purrfect APM for the right-fitting organization who'll value my time and efforts, compensating me with good pay and benefits =^.^= *mews*

+ morning cuddles for my 16-year old rescue kitty, and Power lamp sesh for the 5 year old bearded dragon, turning 6 this June

+ asked to be a Design Mentor at the University I went to (previously a mentor in Kinesiology when I worked as instructor), delighted they're noticing me for Design and Business.

TLDR: a batch of upcoming stars would like to spend time with me (thing is, not sure I can RN)

18 years ago, I was diagnosed with and had a basal cell carcinoma on my back it was fully removed. Now, I have a yearly dermatologist appointment for skin checks. It was done today, and still noting of concern. Except my Notalgia paresthetica adding Capsaicin creme in addition to Sarna. #thankful

1. Senior rescue cat much better thanks to bach flower remedy (pictured): she even joined me to do 6 floors of stairwell exercise
2. Glad to be safe, warm, cozy at home
3. Feeling hopeful and more positive thanks to all the love from my best friend who kept me company more times this month than all last year including support calls and chats from other girl friends connecting virtually for our annual 1on1 catchup ❤️

@somafm I don't even remember how I heard of y'all back in 2006-2007, but I'm sure #thankful that I did. Drone Zone, Space Station Soma, Deep Space One, these stations allow me to achieve a deeper focus during #gamedev and other work that requires full attention. #thanks so much, and keep it coming!! somafm.com/ Check it out!

I just need to take a moment to express how thankful I am for #Mastodon and the #Fediverse. It's social media the way it should be - no ads, no tracking, no algorithms. Decentralized, free, and open source. It's refreshing and sensible and I love it. Remember to invite your friends. And if it's been a while since you last invited them, try again. They might be interested. Most other social media platforms out there are only getting worse and people need to know this experience exists.

One month ago today I was in a car accident and my life crumbled around me.

There were no injuries and not my fault but led to me being unemployed and facing homelessness.

With the incredible kindness of one person here on Mastodon and a relentless non-stop search for employment I managed to find a job, pay my rent, and get this train back on the tracks.

I am so very thankful for all of you who have given me support in my darkest hour. It really has made a difference.
