Can’t get Windows 95 to run in #QEMU 9.2.3 on #macOS. It worked fine when I last tried it in 2023 or 2024, though.

Anyone know if I can burn a Windows 95 installer on a CD using a new MacBook and have an old ThinkPad 380D recognize it?

I’ve had no success trying to use VirtualBox or UTM (to create a Windows installation on an SD card). Tried both Mac M3 and Intel. VB kept crashing, maybe due to the processor speed? So now I want to try the CD drive on the ThinkPad and do it the “real” way.

The creator over on the YouTube channel clabretro has a great video of connecting multiple computers and a Token Ring/Ethernet bridge to a Token Ring MAU.

I just dumped for Windows 95 (and only 95/98): Super KiD95.

This is the successor to KiD98 and it's relatives for other computers, which was a common tool used to create PC-98 graphics back in the day. Unlike KiD98; it runs on Windows, uses TWAIN, you don't need a rare scanner to use it, and it can even do the PC-98's 16/4096 colors!
