Face-off at the feeder! The male northern cardinal was hoarding the feeder, but this female hairy woodpecker put him in his place with a literal tongue-lashing!

I'm still trying to take decent pictures of the Common Goldeneye (Garrot à oeil d'or en français) that can be found nearby; they're always way out on the water, and backlit. Even with a tripod and 800mm lens, they always seem to be out of focus.
In this photo, I decided to boost the saturation (a lot) to get the colors of sunset (despite the photo being taken mid-day)
